Watch cricket highlights - India vs New Zealand, Day 2 highlights, 1st test played at Hamilton on March 19, 2009.
Scoreline: India 278/4. Sachin Tendulkar 70 no, Gautham Gambhir 72, Rahul Dravid 66
A slow day for India when looking at the day’s play over by over, but a calculated performance on the whole. And enough from Tendulkar in the final hour of play to suggest a more aggressive morning session tomorrow in the company of Yuvraj.
Over the last year and a half, the one shot that’s worked for Dravid has been his leaning-forward cover-drive. At times the Australian field-settings had thwarted even that leading to his drop in run-scoring. Today, he hardly got an opportunity to play the shot because of the shortish length bowled - a good half century in decent time coming in the wake of his 136 in his last test vs England
Gambhir got back into run-scoring mode but once again missed out in the 70s. Tendulkar after a brief survey of conditions looked to be keen to play some attacking cricket - this was quickly nipped following a tough dropped catch and he and Laxman slipped into build-a-total mode. The final hour of play however saw Sachin pull out some stunning shots and I definitely will be waking at 3 in the morning to watch the morning session tomorrow.
Pregame: India will resume with Sehwag looking to spank away and add to his 5 boundaries. Whether he does that or not, the middle order with Yuvraj coming in at No 5 is worth the early morning wake-up (for me).

India vs New Zealand 5th ODI Highlights
India vs New Zealand 5th ODI - Cricket Video Highlights free. Auckland will be the host for the 5th ODI to be played between New Zealand vs India. This is first time that India has seal the series in the New Zealand. All other attempts fail to win the ODI series at New Zealand in the last couple of decades. As India is allready ahead in the series, this would be interesting to note whether, he will play with same winning side or he might give chance to those who were never able to show their talent in the series. Dinesh Karthik is one who is expected to play in the next game and it might be Virendra Sehwag who could be asked to take rest unless Sachin Tendulkar is not fit in the game.
One of the Indian Batsman remain till the end on the pitch and puts lot of pressure. In starting ODIs, Raina and Dhoni remain till the end, in third ODI it was Sachin Tendulkar the man of Run Junction, and in last ODI Viru was unstopable. It is now agreed by all experts of any country that this Indian Batting Line-up is best in the world and will put always heavy runs on the board if Flat pitches are provided. The good point for Dhoni is that they not only manage to put huge score when batting second but also learn how to chase big scores while batting second.

West Indies vs England T20 Highlights
Watch cricket highlights of the 1st and only T20 game - West Indies vs England played at Trinidad on March 15, 2009.
Scoreline: England 121 all out. WI cruise - Sarwan 59
The reason for the extended toss at the beginning of the clip is quite self-explanatory I suppose.
A poor day out for Eng with no aspect other than Mascarenhas’ bowling working for them (4-17-0). Sarwan’s early assault ensured that Simmons who looked uncomfortable never really got to feel the heat. Was actually looking forward to watching Simmons in a limited over format - maybe the ODIs will throw him up in proper perspective.
Pregame: Team news - apparently Ravi Bopara and Dimitri Mascarenhas will enter the T20 team for England while Dwayne Bravo (at last) will be back for West Indies apart from members of the Stanford Superstars. Watch that game in the interim here:
